Is it morning already?

I opened my eyes for a wee bit and there were thin stripes of orange on the ceiling. I checked my phone, it’s 4:07. A bit too early to wake up. But the curtains allowed a slick view of the morning sky, and I had to get up to capture it.

There was no point of staying awake though, as I had actually fallen asleep at 2 for literally no reason. And sleep is important, especially since I have a deadlift session at 6 (PM!). Planning my entire day is probably one of my favorite things to do, even though it might include 2–3 (might be more) hours of FIFA. However that second sleeping conquest wasn’t a success and I ended up looking at the picture I had taken through my window. And then it struck me.

The empty streets are meant to exist during the dawn, not the dusk!

This picture seems odd and I couldn’t help not describing it. First of all, I clicked it without my glasses, and without them I am comparable to a log of wood, but this click turned out pretty well.

The best part should be the timing of the click, as it’s so delicately placed between the day and the night. The huge market street light was still on, and it was possibly switched off within the next minute or so, but the sky was already painted. This is what a dawn is supposed to look like I presume.

The next thing to notice is the furniture and the broken cycle. My neighbor kept it on their terrace and I have no clue why. In fact the whole building is empty without any walls and just the skeleton, and that makes it even more strange. And it’s possibly one of the most out-of-place elements to be ever captured in my premature photographic career. But without context they tend to make the image a bit more intriguing. Maybe “intriguing” isn’t the right word but unfortunately I am not very rich in vocabulary. The rays of a new beginning touches something way past its prime and in oblivion, waiting to die. It’s the contrast that makes it bizarre and yet it’s poetic enough.

On a side note which would probably make the ending lame, the angle of the image is questionable I agree. It seems like I am trespassing on their terrace but I am not! No further explanation!
